Miniature Gallery
What is a miniature work of art?
First of all, miniatures are not an ACEO or ATC. They are small in scale, usually no larger than 4 x 4 inches or 16 square inches. The 1/6th scale is the general rule, when creating miniature works of art, that is 1/6th of the size of an object or person in in real life. Miniatures are high in quality and should exemplify Fine Art ~ demonstrating a mastery of composition, color, values, and they require a lot of fine detail.
All my miniatures are originals, done in color pencil, sometimes with watercolor pencil and/or acrylic. All miniatures are sprayed with fixatif. All miniatures are signed, dated and titled on the back and initialed on the front.
